About

Who is behind this

TENON is a precision-tool brand operating out of Shenzhen, China. We are a small team. The company behind the store is 深圳市维鉴新序商贸有限责任公司 (trading internationally as ZENTO TRADING CO., LTD.), registered in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China, unified social credit code 91440300MAKN499Q0U.

Why we started

Almost every precision tool sold online is the same factory product wearing a different sticker, and almost every listing describes it with numbers nobody checked. Bit counts that do not match the tray. A case dimension that contradicts its own drawing. Certification logos with no certificate behind them.

We could not fix the factories. We could fix the listing. So every figure on a TENON product page is traceable to the manufacturer's own specification sheet, and where that sheet contradicts itself we print that fact instead of picking the flattering number. Two of our own product pages currently say the bit count is unconfirmed, because the manufacturer's documents disagree with each other and we would rather look incomplete than look precise and be wrong.

Where we are

We work from Shenzhen, the city most of this hardware is made in. That matters for one practical reason: the factory is a short drive away, so we can inspect what we send you before we send it, rather than shipping a sealed carton we have never opened.

What we sell

Precision repair tools and ratchet assembly tools. Narrow on purpose. We would rather be the best answer for a repair bench than a general store.

What we are not, yet

We do not manufacture these tools — we select them, check them and stand behind them. We do not hold large inventory. We have no customer reviews yet, and we will not invent any. When this page can say more, it will.
